Instructional Systems Designer

ALIS is seeking Instructional Systems Designers with experience in end-to-end instructional design. Responsibilities will include: Conduct Front End Analysis (i.e., training needs/audience analysis); Develop training objectives; Propose training solutions from needs/audience analysis that can achieve the training objectives; Collaborate on instructional design; Work with SMEs to structure instructional content; Design training evaluation tools; Collect, analyze, and synthesize training data (e.g., needs/audience analysis; training evaluation); and complete deliverables on time.
Bachelor’s degree in instructional design from an accredited college or university plus five years experience in design and development of training; or Master’s degree in instructional design and a minimum of three years relevant experience. Additional qualifications include:
• Recent work experience in job/task analysis, training design, development of courseware, training evaluation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows): Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Security clearance is highly desirable, but not required
• Experience supporting Federal Government clients preferred
